First Roll

Here are some images from my first roll of 120 film with my Mamiya 645. They are nothing spectacular, but I am mostly pleased that the majority of the pictures are in focus. I forgot how hard it is to focus manually...

I fumbled for a phone call at 2am on a very early Saturday morning...the baby was coming!

Marlies is a trooper, and after a VERY intense and fast labor, all the way to 9cm, the baby was in distress...off to the OR she went. I have never photographed a labor that ended in a c-section before, but I can tell you...NOTHING is lost with the excitement of a new baby...even if things don't go as planned.
